Perceptual Motor

Perceptual Motor

The sensory system is a channel for receiving information and understanding the environment to help develop cognitive learning, which is especially important for our students. In the process of learning, sensing things through the sensory system establishes a good foundation for further learning, and promotes students' learning, understanding and mastery of knowledge and skills in other disciplines, so as to strengthen the development of thinking and memory.

The school-based Perceptual Motor subject mainly consists of two categories: “Sensory” and “Fine Motor”. “Sensory learning” includes sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste; “Fine Motor learning” is comprised of reaching for objects, grasping objects, hand manipulation, hand-eye coordination, etc.
