Information and Communication Technology

Referring to Information and Communication Technology Course and Assessment Supplementary Guidelines (NSS F.4 to F.6) (2011) set for students with intellectual disabilities, the objective of the subject is to enhance students' understanding, control and participation of their own environment through learning of ICT and use of assistive tools.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) purposes:
  1. Help compensate students' dysfunction and create a Barrier-free learning environment for them;
  2. Enhance students' interest in learning;
  3. Stimulate students' communication intentions;
  4. Improve the quality of life.


Note: The school-based ICT course is under construction.
