Self-care
The learning objective of self-care subject is to cultivate students' independent living skills so that they can take care of themselves to adapt to different environments and meet the needs of daily life.
There are seven categories in the syllabus, including toileting, drinking, eating, eating manner and habits, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene and practical home skills.
Through the coordination of multiple scenario and teaching strategies, students can achieve balanced and comprehensive development in terms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values. It can enhance the personal living abilities of students with severe intellectual disability, so that they can take care of themselves, be independent and determined.
